Setting Up Your BallerCam Hardware

BallerCam is designed for quick setup right out of the box. There’s no complicated assembly required — most of the hardware comes fully integrated.

This guide walks you through getting your BallerCam ready to film.

Unboxing and Core Components

When you open your BallerCam kit, you’ll find:

• The BallerCam filming unit (lens and cooling fan are already built in)
   
• Your model-specific phone insert
   
• Portable battery pack
   

Step 1: Inserting Your iPhone

1. Place your iPhone into the custom insert you ordered. Make sure it fits snugly and is the correct size for your phone model.
    
2. Slide the phone and insert into the BallerCam case until it snaps into place.
    
3. To remove later, pull the quick-release tab to release the insert.
    

Step 2: Installing the Battery Pack

1. Open the battery compartment door on the bottom of the BallerCam.
    
2. Slide the portable battery into the compartment. The MagSafe side of the battery should face up toward the BallerCam.
    
3. Close the battery door until it clicks shut.
    

Step 3: Connecting the Cooling Fan

1. The cooling fan cable is already integrated into the BallerCam unit.
    
2. Plug the fan cable directly into the portable battery’s output port.
    
3. The cooling fan will automatically turn on when connected to the battery. You’ll hear a soft humming sound when the fan is running.
    

Important: If your portable battery runs out of power, the cooling fan will stop. Without the fan, your iPhone is more likely to overheat — especially in warmer weather.

Final Setup Reminders

• Remove the lens cap before filming. It’s easy to forget, especially if you’re setting up quickly.
   
• Secure all connections. Double-check that the battery is fully installed and that the fan cable is firmly connected.
   

Using a tripod is highly recommended. While you can place your BallerCam on a stable surface like bleachers or a wall, using a tripod will give you the best filming height, stability, and AI tracking performance.
