Global Home, Navigation, and Premium Features

BallerCam's updated app experience makes it easier to find games, manage your teams, follow athletes, upload recordings, and start filming.

The app is organized around a personalized Global Home, simplified navigation, updated team pages, and Premium features available with the Pro Plan.

🏠 Global Home

Global Home is your main starting point in the BallerCam app.

Instead of opening into a single team's page, Home can bring together relevant content from across the teams you manage or follow.

Depending on your account and activity, Global Home may show:

• Live games
• Recently filmed games
• Upcoming games
• Latest games
• Clips and highlights
• Favorite athletes
• Shared content

You can also pull down to refresh Home and check for the latest updates.

🧭 App Navigation

The main BallerCam navigation is organized into three areas:

Home

Your personalized hub for games, clips, highlights, athletes, and other relevant content.

Teams

View the teams you manage or follow.

From Teams, you can also use the + button to create or join a team.

Profile

Manage your BallerCam account and profile-related settings.

The app also provides quick-action buttons depending on where you are and what permissions you have:

• Home: Film button for eligible users
• Teams: + button for creating or joining a team
• Team pages: Film Game button for users with filming access

👥 Team Navigation

When you open a team, the team experience is organized into four main sections:

• Overview
• People
• Games
• Clips

The People section is where you'll find team members, players, roster information, and related team-management options.

The previous Roster area is now part of People.

🏠 Overview

The Overview section gives you quick access to important team information and common actions.

Depending on your role and permissions, you may see options to:

• Schedule a game
• Schedule a practice
• Invite people
• Build your roster
• Film a game

Teams without players may also see a Build Your Roster card to help complete team setup.

👤 People

Use People to manage the people connected to your team.

Depending on your permissions, you may be able to:

• View players
• Manage the roster
• Review team members
• Manage roles and permissions
• Review Player requests
• Manage Athlete Profile connections

🎮 Games

Use Games to view and manage your team's game activity.

This can include:

• Scheduled games
• Live games
• Completed games
• Replays
• Game details

✂️ Clips

Use Clips to access video clips and highlights created from your team's games.

🎥 Recently Filmed Games

After filming a game, Creators can see a Recently Filmed card on Global Home.

This card makes it easier to track the status of your recording.

Depending on the game's status, available actions may include:

• Upload
• Processing
• Watch Replay

This gives you a clearer view of what still needs to be uploaded and when your replay is ready to watch.

🕹️ Latest Games

The Latest Games area provides quick access to recent team activity.

Game cards can show information such as:

• Game timing
• Score
• Sport
• Replay availability
• Highlight information

Select a game to open its details. 

For Soccer games, Global Home also displays Match Time when it is enabled.

📅 Upcoming Games

Scheduled games can appear directly on Global Home.

If you have the appropriate permissions, you may be able to start a supported scheduled game directly from its upcoming-game card.

Your ability to start a game depends on your permissions for the team associated with that game.

Select More This Week to view additional scheduled game details. 

You can also schedule practices and use RSVP features to help coordinate attendance with your team.

✂️ Clips & Highlights

BallerCam makes clips and highlights easier to find from both Global Home and your team.

The Clips and Highlights experience includes:

• Clear Clip and Highlight labels
• Creation timestamps
• Sport-specific imagery when available
• Easier access to your video library

You can like, comment on, and share clips directly from the clip experience. You can also receive a notification when someone likes a clip you created.

Make sure BallerCam notifications are enabled on your device if you want to receive these alerts.

If you haven't created any clips yet, BallerCam may also show guidance to help you start building your clips library.

⭐ Favorite Athletes

Athletes you follow can appear directly on Global Home.

Favorite Athlete cards can surface content such as:

• Games
• Clips
• Moments

Tap an athlete card to open their Athlete Profile.

This makes it easier to keep up with the Players you follow without having to navigate through each team first.

🚀 Getting Started as a New User

When setting up BallerCam for the first time, you'll be asked what you'd like to do.

You can choose:

• Film Your Team
• Follow Your Team

If You Choose Film Your Team

BallerCam guides you through the steps needed to get ready to film.

Your setup may include:

1. Activate BallerCam
2. Create your team
3. Build your roster
4. Schedule or film a game

If You Choose Follow Your Team

BallerCam guides you through joining an existing team using the available team invitation options.

🏀 Team Setup

When creating and setting up a team, BallerCam provides tools to help you get ready for your first game.

Depending on your setup, you may see:

• Expanded team color options
• A Build Your Roster card
• Setup checklist progress
• Quick actions for common team-management tasks

Your setup checklist can update as you add players and complete other team setup steps.

👤 Profile

The Profile area gives you access to your BallerCam account and related options.

If you don't have an active BallerCam device associated with your account, you may also see a Get BallerCam option to help you begin the activation process.

📱 Landscape Support

BallerCam supports landscape orientation across key areas of the app.

Landscape improvements apply to experiences such as:

• Global Home
• Team views
• Team selection
• Pre-game screens
• Filming options
• Playlist transitions

This provides a more consistent experience when using your device horizontally. 

The game-start flow is simpler in landscape mode. Follow the setup prompts, then tap Go Live to start a livestream or Start Recording to begin a Record Only session.

💎 Pro Plan Premium Features

The BallerCam Pro Plan includes two Premium features:

• RTMP
• Logo Overlay

📡 RTMP

RTMP lets you send your BallerCam livestream to a supported external streaming destination.

Supported destinations include:

• YouTube
• Facebook
• A custom external server

You can either:

• Save a default RTMP destination for a team, or
• Configure RTMP separately for an individual livestream

Set a Default RTMP Destination

To configure RTMP from your team settings:

1. Select your team.
2. Go to the team profile.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select an external platform and enable the toggle.
5. Enter the Server Address and Stream Key.
6. Tap Save.

Enable RTMP for a Specific Livestream

To configure RTMP when starting a game:

1. Select your team.
2. Tap Film Game.
3. Select Live Stream.
4. Select Yes, Continue.
5. Check Enable RTMP for this stream.
6. Tap Continue.
7. Choose your external destination.
8. Enter the Server Address and Stream Key.
9. Tap Save.
10. Continue through setup and tap Go Live.

Make sure Enable RTMP for this stream is selected before you start.

When RTMP is active, the filming screen should display an RTMP indicator with the logo of the selected platform. 

Check the RTMP status while streaming to monitor the connection to your external destination. If a problem appears, check your internet connection, Server Address, Stream Key, and the destination’s livestream dashboard.

💡 Tip: Always verify your Server Address and Stream Key before going live. Some platforms may generate a new Stream Key for each broadcast.

🖼️ Logo Overlay

Logo Overlay lets you add your team or organization's logo to BallerCam streams and recordings.

You can configure logos for your team or select them when setting up an individual game.

Set Up Logo Overlay for Your Team

1. Select your team.
2. Go to your team profile.
3. Select Settings.
4. Tap + Add Logo.
5. Select up to 10 images from your photo library.
6. Select up to 2 logos to use as overlays.
7. Enable Default for new games if you want your selected logo to be used automatically for new games.
8. Use Include logo in downloaded video when you want the logo included in the downloaded video file.

During livestreams and replays, the logo appears in the lower-left corner.

Set Up Logo Overlay for an Individual Game

You can also choose a logo while setting up a specific game.

1. Select your team.
2. Tap Film Game.
3. Select Live Stream or Record.
4. Select Yes, Continue.
5. Check Display Logo Overlay.
6. Tap Continue.
7. Tap + Add Logo.
8. Select up to 10 images from your library.
9. Select up to 2 logos to use.
10. Choose whether to Include logo in downloaded video.
11. Continue through setup, then tap Go Live for a livestream or Start Recording for Record Only.

After the game ends, the replay may continue processing while the logo overlay is being prepared.
