Joining a Team as a Fan

Fans are typically family members, friends, or supporters who want to follow a team, watch games, get alerts, and make clips, but don’t need special team management access. Fans cannot film, score, or edit the team, but they get full access to the viewing experience.

How to Join as a Fan

1. Get the Fan Link

To join a team as a Fan, you need the Fan Link shared by the Creator or a Member. You can receive this link via:

• Text
   
• Email
   
• Group chat
   
• Or anywhere the Creator shares it
   

2. Open the Fan Link

When you tap the link:

• You’ll be taken to the team’s page on BallerCam, either in the app or on web.
   

3. Sign Up or Log In

To officially follow the team as a Fan:

• You must create a free BallerCam account or log in if you already have one.
   
• Once logged in, you’ll be asked if you want to follow the team.
   

• Tap “Join as Fan” to confirm.
   

   

What You Can Do as a Fan

• Watch livestreams and replays
   
• Make and share clips
   
• Favorite players to follow specific athletes
   
• Receive alerts when the team goes live and when final scores are posted
   
• View the team’s page and game schedule
   

Note:

• You can watch livestreams without a BallerCam account if someone shares the direct stream link. But to watch replays, make clips, or receive alerts, you must join as a Fan.
