Following a Player in the BallerCam App

Fans, Creators, and Members can all follow individual players in the BallerCam app to get personalized alerts and quickly access their favorite athletes' highlights. This is not a fan-only feature — following players is available to anyone using the app or web experience.

Why Follow a Player?

When you follow a player:

• You’ll get notified when their team goes live with a game.
   
• You may receive alerts if that player is tagged in key plays (when scoring and tagging are used).
   
• You can quickly find the player’s saved clips and personal highlight playlist in the app.
   

How to Follow a Player

There are two main ways to follow a player:

1. From the Team Roster

• In the BallerCam app, go to the Team tab → Roster section.
   
• Tap on a player’s name to open their Athlete Page.
   
• At the top of the screen, tap the “Follow” button (you’ll see a star icon next to it).
   

2. In Other Parts of the App or Web Experience

• You’ll often see player names with a star icon next to them throughout the app and web experience.
   
• Tap the star icon anywhere you see it to instantly follow or unfollow that player.
   

How to Unfollow a Player

• To unfollow a player, simply tap the star icon again.
   
• The star will un-highlight, and you’ll stop receiving alerts and player updates.
