Does the BallerCam include a camera? 

No, BallerCam doesn’t include a camera. It uses your iPhone’s camera with a custom case that includes a wide-angle lens, cooling fan, and BallerTV’s AI for tracking, panning, zooming, scoring, and more.

What sports work with BallerCam? 

BallerCam’s AI-powered tracking currently supports:

• Soccer
• Basketball
• Futsal
• Volleyball (sideline view with panning);  baseline view (no-panning)
• Flag Football and 7v7 football
• Pickleball

Is this case compatible with all iPhone models? 

BallerCam works with iPhone 13 Pro and newer models.

Can I attach this case to a tripod? 

Yes, BallerCam attaches to any standard tripod with a ¼"-20 mount. Recommended tripods are available for purchase.

Is the lens protected? 

Yes, BallerCam includes a protective lip and a permanently affixed lens to help prevent scratches and reduce glare.

Is the case waterproof or weather-resistant? 

BallerCam is weather-resistant for filming in rain or snow, but it is not waterproof and should never be submerged.

Can I wirelessly charge my phone while filming? 

No. Wireless charging is not supported while your phone is in the BallerCam. Use the included battery and charging cable instead.

Will my phone overheat inside the case? 

BallerCam includes a cooling fan powered by the swappable battery. Always use the included sun cover for extra heat protection.

💳 Subscription & Billing

Do I need a subscription to use BallerCam? 

No. A subscription is not required to film, stream, score, upload, or use BallerCam’s core app features. Viewers also do not need a subscription to watch games.

Every BallerCam device includes a Base Plan, which gives you unlimited filming with 20 hours of cloud storage. You can record full games, livestream, clip highlights, and save content without paying for a subscription.

If you need more cloud storage, you can upgrade to a paid plan. We keep it simple—you only pay for storage. All plans include unlimited teams, users, viewers, and supported sports.

When does my subscription billing start? 

Your subscription billing starts on the day you choose to upgrade to a paid plan (Starter or Pro). Billing is annual and renews automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date.

If you’re using the Base Plan, there is no billing—it’s included and available as soon as you start using BallerCam.

Can I manage my subscription inside the app? 

You can purchase or upgrade your subscription directly in the BallerCam app.

For full subscription management—such as canceling your plan or updating your payment details—you’ll be redirected to BallerCam Web, where you’ll be automatically logged into our subscription portal (powered by Seal Subscriptions).

🎥 Filming & Streaming

Can I livestream and record at the same time? 

Yes. BallerCam always records a high-quality version locally while livestreaming. If you experience internet issues, you can switch to Record-Only mode mid-game.

Can I record a game without internet? 

Yes. An internet connection is only required for livestreaming or uploading games. You can always record a game locally to your iPhone without internet.

Can I film with an iPad or Android device? 

No. Only iPhones (iPhone 13 Pro or newer) are supported for filming.

How many people can film for the same team? 

There is no limit. Any creator or team member with a compatible iPhone and the BallerCam can film games for the same team.

Can I schedule games in advance? 

Yes. You can schedule games in the BallerCam app to make game-day setup faster and share links ahead of time.

📶 Internet & Streaming Quality

How much internet speed do I need for livestreaming? 

We recommend at least 5 Mbps upload speed for smooth streaming.

What happens if my livestream buffers or drops? 

Your local HD recording is unaffected by internet issues. When you upload the game after filming, the replay is upgraded and any livestream gaps are corrected.

💾 Storage & Uploading

How much storage do I need on my iPhone? 

We recommend at least 10 GB of free space per hour of filming.

What happens to the video after I upload it? 

When you upload:

• Your iPhone storage is cleared.
   
• The replay is upgraded to HD for your team and fans.
   
• You unlock Explore View (interactive replay).

Can I delete games to free up storage? 

Yes. You can delete HD recordings from your iPhone or fully delete games from BallerCam’s cloud.

🔁 Viewing, Replays & Clips

Can I watch livestreams without creating a BallerCam account? 

Yes. Livestreams are fully open — no account is required. 

Do replays require a subscription? 

No. Replays are free but require a free BallerCam account.

When are replays available?

• Livestream games: Replays are available immediately after the game ends.
   
• Record-only games: Replays are only visible to the creator until the game is uploaded.

What replay modes are available?

Who can download videos to their camera roll? 

Only the person who filmed the game can download the HD video to their iPhone camera roll.

Can I create and share clips? 

Yes. Creators, Members, and Fans can all create and share clips.

Can I tag players in clips?

📢 Team & Fan Management

Do fans get notified when a game is scheduled? 

No. Fans only receive push notifications when a game goes live or when the final score is posted.

How many teams can I create? 

There’s no limit. Your subscription covers unlimited teams, unlimited games, and unlimited viewers.

Who can keep score during a game? 

Creators and Members can score games using the BallerCam app. Fans cannot.
