Direct sunlight can wash out video depending on the time of day, angle, and iPhone model — newer iPhones tend to handle glare and contrast better.

Since BallerCam uses your iPhone’s native camera, we recommend positioning the setup with the sun behind the camera whenever possible for the best video quality.

You can also use the BallerCam Weather Shield as part of your setup to help protect the filming device from outdoor conditions.

For the best results, avoid pointing the camera directly into strong sunlight when possible.
