Filming hours refer to the amount of time you can spend recording games with BallerCam.
With BallerCam's current plans, there is no fixed monthly filming-hour allowance. Base, Starter, and Pro all include unlimited filming, subject to BallerCam's Fair Use Policy and available storage.
π₯ What Does Unlimited Filming Mean?
Unlimited filming means your plan does not give you a set number of recording hours that you use up each month.
For example, you do not receive:
- 10 filming hours per month
- 25 filming hours per month
- 100 filming hours per month
Instead, all current BallerCam plans allow unlimited filming*.
| Plan | Filming |
|---|---|
| Base | Unlimited* |
| Starter | Unlimited* |
| Pro | Unlimited* |
*Unlimited filming is subject to fair use and available storage.
βοΈ Filming Hours vs. Cloud Storage Hours
Filming and cloud storage are two different things.
Filming
This is the amount of time you spend recording games with BallerCam.
Current plans include unlimited filming*.
Cloud Storage
This is the amount of uploaded video you can keep in BallerCam Cloud at one time.
Your cloud-storage capacity depends on your plan.
| Plan | Filming | Total Cloud Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Base | Unlimited* | 20 hours |
| Starter | Unlimited* | 100 hours |
| Pro | Unlimited* | 250 hours |
*Subject to fair use and available storage.
π‘ Example
Suppose you're on the Base Plan.
You could film:
- 2 hours on Saturday
- 3 hours on Sunday
- 4 more hours the following weekend
Those hours do not reduce a monthly filming allowance because the Base Plan includes unlimited filming*.
However, if you upload those recordings to BallerCam Cloud and keep them there, they count toward your 20-hour total cloud-storage limit.
π Do My Filming Hours Reset Every Month?
There is no monthly filming-hour balance to reset under the current plans.
Base, Starter, and Pro all include unlimited filming*, so you do not need to wait until a new month to receive additional filming hours.
π± Does Unlimited Filming Mean I Don't Need iPhone Storage?
No.
BallerCam records the HD video directly to the filming iPhone, so your phone still needs enough available storage for the game.
Local iPhone storage is separate from:
- Your filming allowance
- Your BallerCam Cloud storage
Local storage usage varies by sport and recording. Plan for around 10 GB of available iPhone storage per hour of filming, particularly for Soccer.
β¬οΈ What Happens When I Upload a Game?
After filming, you can upload the recording to BallerCam Cloud.
Once uploaded, the video's duration counts toward your plan's total cloud-storage limit, not toward a filming-hour limit.
For example, uploading a 2-hour game uses approximately 2 hours of your available cloud storage.
ποΈ Can I Keep Filming If My Cloud Storage Is Full?
Your filming allowance and cloud-storage allowance are separate, but you need available cloud storage to upload additional games.
If you've reached your cloud-storage limit, you can:
- Delete previously uploaded games you no longer need, or
- Upgrade to a plan with more cloud storage
Deleting stored games frees cloud capacity for future uploads.
π Do Paid Plans Give Me More Filming Hours?
No. All current plans already include unlimited filming*.
The primary difference between the plans is cloud-storage capacity, with Pro also including additional Premium features.
Base
- Unlimited filming*
- 20 hours of cloud storage
Starter
- Unlimited filming*
- 100 hours of cloud storage
Pro
- Unlimited filming*
- 250 hours of cloud storage
- RTMP
- Logo Overlay
π₯ What If I Film Multiple Teams?
You can use BallerCam with multiple teams without dividing a limited monthly filming-hour allowance among them.
Because current plans include unlimited filming*, you can film games across your teams as needed.
Keep in mind that uploaded games still count toward the total cloud-storage capacity of your plan.
