Yes. BallerCam supports volleyball stat tracking through Point Classification during live scoring and Tag Stats after the game.
Together, these features let you classify how points were scored, associate supported plays with players, and add plays or stats that may have been missed during the live match.
π Point Classification
Point Classification lets you categorize scoring plays as they happen during a volleyball game. Use a secondary iOS device signed into an account with Keep Score permission for the team.
To set it up:
- Open Game Settings.
- Find Point Classification.
- Choose which team or teams you want to track:
- Select your team to classify only your team's points.
- Select both teams to classify points for both teams.
- Enable Assign to Player if you want supported scoring plays connected to specific players.
- Tap Start Scoring.
π― What Scoring Plays Can Be Classified?
When a point is scored, you can classify it as:
- Kill β an attack that directly results in a point
- Error β an error that results in a point for the opposing team
- Block β a successful block that results in a point
- Ace β a serve that directly results in a point
If Assign to Player is enabled, you can associate supported scoring plays with the player responsible.
Errors are not assigned to a specific player through Point Classification.
π€ Player Attribution
If you want to track which players are responsible for scoring plays, turn on:
Assign to Player
before you begin scoring.
When enabled, BallerCam lets you assign applicable scoring plays to individual players.
For the best results, make sure your roster is ready before the match and select the correct player when recording each play.
π·οΈ Tag Stats
If a play or stat was missed during live scoring, you can add it afterward using Tag Stats.
Once the game has been uploaded and is available on desktop web, a Tag Stats button appears.
Select Tag Stats to review the game and add missing volleyball events.
