📱 How Second-Device Scoring Works

The filming iPhone continues recording or livestreaming as usual.

At the same time, another person can open BallerCam on a second iOS device and manage supported game information such as:

• PK Mode for Soccer, when applicable

The available controls depend on the sport and scoring mode being used. 

The secondary scoring device can be an older supported iPhone or iPad running the BallerCam app. The iPhone 13 Pro or newer requirement applies to filming, not secondary-device scoring.

👤 Who Can Keep Score?

The person scoring must:

• Have a BallerCam account
• Be connected to the correct team
• Have Keep Score permission for that team

Team Creators can review and adjust team-member permissions when needed.

If someone opens the game but does not see Keep Score, their account may not currently have scoring permission.

Fans and Parents/Guardians can also help keep score when the team Creator enables Keep Score permission for them. This permission is not enabled by default for those roles.

For teams where the Player role is available, Players have Keep Score enabled by default.

The primary filming device can continue recording without interruption.

For a scheduled livestream, only one phone can publish the stream. The original filming phone retains access to resume filming. Other supported devices can still keep score, mark Moments, and watch the game.
