Not yet. BallerCam Scoring currently requires a supported iOS device running the BallerCam app.
Android devices cannot currently be used to keep score or manage live scoring controls during a BallerCam game.
📱 What Device Should I Use for Scoring?
You can use:
- The iPhone currently filming the game, or
- A secondary iOS device running the BallerCam app
Using a secondary iOS device is recommended because the filming device can remain mounted and focused on recording while another person manages the score.
The secondary scoring device can be an older supported iPhone or iPad running the BallerCam app. The iPhone 13 Pro or newer requirement applies to filming, not secondary-device scoring.
👤 Can Someone Else Use Their iOS Device to Score?
Yes.
Another person can score from their own supported iOS device as long as they:
- Have the BallerCam app installed.
- Sign in to their BallerCam account.
- Are connected to the correct team.
- Have Keep Score permission for that team.
Once the game is underway, they can find the active game from Global Home and tap Keep Score.
🎮 What Can Be Managed From the Scoring Device?
Available scoring controls depend on the sport and game setup.
They may include:
- Scorekeeping
- Player attribution
- Game clock
- Periods, quarters, halves, or sets
- Fouls
- Timeouts
- Advanced statistics
- Volleyball Point Classification
- PK Mode for Soccer
- Other sport-specific game controls
Using a second device lets the filming iPhone continue recording without interruption.
🏀 Basketball Scoring
For Basketball, a secondary iOS device can be used for:
Basic Scoring
- 2-pointers

- Assists
- Offensive rebounds
- Defensive rebounds

- Steals
- Blocks
- Fouls
- Timeouts
- Missed shots
Real-time scoring from a second device can also help create automatic video clips for recorded plays.
🏐 Volleyball Scoring
A secondary iOS device can manage Volleyball scoring while the filming device remains focused on recording.
Supported controls can include Point Classification, allowing scoring plays to be classified as:
- Kill
- Error
- Block
- Ace
Applicable plays can also be assigned to individual players when Assign to Player is enabled.
⚽ Soccer Scoring
For Soccer, a secondary iOS device can be used to manage supported controls such as:
- Score
- Goals
Attribute goals to your players or opponent players when the relevant rosters have been added.
- Match Time
- Period management
- PK Mode
