Can I keep score directly from the iPhone that's in the BallerCam?

Yes, you can keep score directly on the iPhone inside the BallerCam. However, in most cases the BallerCam is placed up high on a tripod, making direct interaction impractical.

That’s why we recommend using a second iPhone, an Apple Watch, or assigning a team member to handle scoring from their own device.

Make sure whoever is scoring is signed into a BallerCam account that has Scoring permissions for your team.

That said, in certain edge cases — like baseline volleyball setups or filming from the bleachers — it may be possible to score directly on the filming phone if it’s within reach.

For basketball, player scoring/stat attribution is not available directly on the filming device — only simple scoring is available there. For a more convenient scoring experience, you can use a second device or Apple Watch.
