How to Upload Your HD Video After Filming

Uploading your HD game video after filming is an essential part of the BallerCam experience. It improves the viewing quality for your team, unlocks additional features like Explore View, and helps manage your local storage.

Where to Find the Upload Button

After you finish filming a game, your most recent game will appear on the Home tab of the BallerCam app.

If the game hasn’t been uploaded yet, you’ll see:

• A big white “Upload Game” button under the game card.

• If it was a record-only game, you’ll also see a message like:
   
  • “This game is offline & needs to be uploaded.”
     
  • “This game is not viewable for fans until uploaded.”
     

📌 Why Uploading Record-Only Games Is Even More Important:

• If you streamed the game live → Fans can still watch the lower-quality 720p replay even if you don’t upload the HD file.
   
• If you recorded-only → No one else can see the game until you upload it.
   

📂 Other Ways to Upload

You can also:

• Tap into any game card in your Games tab.
   
• If the game hasn’t been uploaded yet, you’ll see the same big white Upload Game button on the game’s detail page.

📌 Important: Only the person who filmed the game on their iPhone can upload it. If you didn’t film the game, you won’t see the Upload button — because the raw HD recording only exists on the filmer’s device.

🛠️ Uploading Your Game

1. Tap “Upload Game” You’ll see a screen showing the file size of the video and upload tips.

   
    

2.  Tap “Start HD Upload” The upload progress bar will appear, showing:
 

• Percentage complete
   
• Estimated time remaining based on your current network speed

3. After Upload Completes: You’ll see the message: “We are processing the HD version of this game. We’ll notify you when it’s ready.”

   
    

4. Processing Time: Even after the upload hits 100%, the game needs additional time to process in the BallerCam system.
    

• You’ll receive a push notification and email when the HD version is fully processed and visible to your team’s viewers.
   

⚙️ Upload Tips

• Keep the BallerCam app open during upload (Uploads will be much slower if you background the app.)
   
• You can pause and resume uploads anytime.
   
• We recommend uploading overnight for best performance and minimal interruptions.
   

🔍 Troubleshooting Stuck Uploads

If you get stuck on “We are processing the HD version of this game” for an unusually long time:

• Hard close the BallerCam app.
   
• Reopen the app to refresh the upload status.
   

✅ How to Tell if Your Game Was Successfully Uploaded

• You’ll see an HD icon in the thumbnail of any game you’ve uploaded.
   
• Reminder: The HD icon indicates that the HD version is now available for your viewers.
   
• Your original local recording was already HD — the icon is for your fans’ benefit.
