Adding others to your team on BallerCam is simple. Whether you’re inviting a coach, another parent, a team admin, or just fans who want to follow along, it's easy with BallerCam.
What people get when they join
Anyone who joins your team immediately gets:
Ability to watch livestreams and replays
Access to your team page with all historical games
Automatic alerts when your team goes live
Final score notifications after each game
Roles and permissions
When someone joins, they select their role: Coach, Team Staff, Parent/Guardian, or Fan.
Fans
Can watch games, view the team page, get live alerts, and receive final score notifications
No approval required by the creator
No special team management permissions
Coaches and Team Staff
Default permissions include:
Scoring games
Ending streams
Adding players to the roster
Monitoring stream connectivity
Filming on behalf of the team (if they have a compatible iPhone + BallerCam adapter)
Must be approved by the creator before these permissions are activated
While waiting for approval, they still have immediate fan-level access (watching games, alerts, score notifications)
Parents
Default permissions include:
Ending streams
Adding players to the roster
Monitoring stream connectivity
Filming on behalf of the team (if they have a compatible iPhone + BallerCam adapter)
Must be approved by the creator before these permissions are activated
While waiting for approval, they still have immediate fan-level access (watching games, alerts, score notifications)
How to invite people
In the BallerCam app, go to your team’s home page.
Tap the “Invite People” button.
You’ll get a single shareable link for your team.
Send the link however you’d like: text, email, or your team’s group chat app.
💡 Tip: Make sure anyone you invite has created a free BallerCam account. It only takes a minute to sign up with name, email, and phone number.
Managing permissions
As the creator, you have full control:
Set default permissions for each role (e.g., what coaches or parents can do by default).
Adjust individual permissions at any time.
Example: If a parent is approved and want them scoring games, you can simply check the “Scoring” toggle for that person.
This gives you flexibility:
Keep it simple if you don’t want to manage permissions often.
Or get surgical control by adjusting permissions for each individual.
✅ With this streamlined invite flow, you only need one shareable link for your whole team — making it easier than ever to get coaches, parents, and fans connected.
