AI Plays for Basketball identifies supported shot events in recorded games and connects them with video clips. It helps you find makes, misses, layups, and dunks without searching through the full replay.
⚙️ AI Plays Settings
Use the dedicated AI Plays settings to review your Basketball team’s processing preferences.
You can manage available options such as:
- Team-color assignments.
- AI Plays processing preferences for future games.
Check that the team colors match the game so detected plays can be associated with the correct team.
🏀 What AI Plays Detects
AI Plays can identify supported Basketball events, including:
- Made shots.
- Missed shots.
- Layups.
- Dunks.
Detected events are organized into a play view and connected to the corresponding video clips.
AI may miss or misclassify events, so review the results for accuracy.
⏳ When AI Plays Become Available
Postgame processing makes completed batches of detected plays available for review.
Completed AI Plays remain available while the HD recording is processing. You do not need to wait for all HD processing to finish before reviewing plays that are already ready.
Player and jersey attribution may become available as processing continues. A play without player attribution does not necessarily mean processing has failed.
Completed Smart Plays also remain available after imports or clip generation finishes.
▶️ Browsing Detected Plays
To review available AI Plays:
- Open the Basketball replay.
- Find the AI Plays section.
- Use the available filters, such as player, play type, or half.
- Select a detected play to watch its video clip.
Review the clip before sharing or correcting its information.
🗺️ Using the Shot Chart
The AI Plays Shot Chart displays detected made and missed shots on an interactive Basketball court.
Use the available filters to narrow the results, then select a shot to watch its corresponding clip.
The Shot Chart can help you review shooting locations and find specific plays more quickly.
👤 Reviewing Teams, Players, and Assists
Check that detected plays are associated with the correct team and player.
When attribution is missing or incorrect:
- Review the video clip.
- Confirm the correct team and team-color assignment.
- Select the appropriate player or jersey number.
- Manually assign or correct the assisting player when applicable.
Player and jersey attribution appears when ready, but you should still review it for accuracy.
